Information about travel to Switzerland related to COVID-19
Until further notice, entry to Switzerland from all countries (except Liechtenstein) has been restricted.
Exemptions are granted for the following travelers:
a. You are a Swiss citizen
b. You hold a travel document and a residence permit, i.e. a Swiss residence permit (permits L / B / C / Ci), a cross-border permit (G permit), a visa D issued by Switzerland of a visa C issued by Switzerland for the purpose of attending professional consultations as a health sector specialist or for making an official visit of vital importance or an assurance of resident permit.”

d. People travelling directly through Switzerland to another country they are permitted to enter (and who have the documentation to prove it).
e. People transporting goods for commercial purposes who have a delivery order for their merchandise.
f. People who need to enter Switzerland because of a serious emergency; this includes spouses and minor children of Swiss citizens who are returning to Switzerland
g. Specialists in the healthcare sector who need to enter Switzerland for important professional reasons.
If you are eligible for an exemption but do not have documentation to prove this to the airline company and immigration officer at the Swiss border, please contact your Swiss representation by e-mail (NO phone calls please), provide your first name, last name, date of birth and nationality, and specify your situation and needs.
If your trip to Switzerland includes transit through another foreign country, you must also check the entry restrictions of that country.
