Important information: Entry regulation to Switzerland for Georgian citizens as of 03.11.2020

Georgian citizens, holders of valid biometric passports only, are exempt from the visa requirement when travelling to the Schengen area for a short stay of no more than 90 days within a 180-day period.

However, as of 03.11.2020 and until further notice the entry into Switzerland will exclusively be granted in a situation of special necessity.

Life and civil status certificate

The Swiss Compensation Office in Geneva accepts temporarily life certificates with scan of your passport by e-mail due to the current situation, respectively the delays in postal traffic and various difficulties in visiting authorities.

The life certificate can be confirmed by you by means of a signature (without the stamp of an authority).

Possible requests and the scanned life certificate signed by you with a copy of your passport, should be sent to the following e-mail address: sedmaster@zas.admin.ch.
