Rindfleisch und Milch aus Aran für aserbaidschanische Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten

Die Region Aran in Aserbaidschan ist berühmt für ihr Rindfleisch und ihre Milchprodukte. Das Projekt der DEZA fördert in Aran die Beziehungen zwischen Landwirten und Tierärzten, Viehfutterlieferanten, milchverarbeitenden Unternehmen und Fleischgrosshändlern, um einen nachhaltigen und florierenden Markt für die Produkte Arans zu schaffen. Von dem Projekt profitieren 10 000 Haushalte (50 000 Menschen) in 30 Dörfern.

Regional Arts and Culture Project in the South Caucasus

By providing a platform for the development of contemporary art, the Regional Arts and Culture Project promotes intercultural dialogues and exchanges in the South Caucasus. Implemented in collaboration with partners based in Georgia and networks in Armenia and Azerbaijan, the project aims at supporting visual arts (documentary film and photography), building up professional capacities, engaging civil society, and boosting local art scenes with a small grants’ fund.

SDC funding to UNHCR operations allows the UN Refugee Agency to respond proactively and to provide immediate protection and assistance to refugees and internally displaced people in life-threatening situations and underfunded emergencies.

Facilitating Access to Animal Resources and Markets in Agdam, Agcabadi, Barda, Beylaqan and Tartar districts of Azerbaijan (FARMS)

The project will contribute to the transition towards a free market system in target communities in central Azerbaijan through a sustainable increase of incomes of male and female farmers in animal husbandry using a market development approach. The central part of Azerbaijan has a good potential for inclusive growth in agriculture. However, lack of proper markets, services and knowledge prevent poor farmers to gain better incomes.

Rural Development in the districts Barda, Tartar and Agdam

Aider les petits paysans des districts ruraux pauvres du centre de l’Azerbaïdjan – Barda, Tartar et Adam – à tirer un revenu sûr de la culture des fruits et légumes. Mise en œuvre: L’organisation responsable est Oxfam Great Britain. Le projet se concentre sur la culture des fraises et des oignons blancs et jaunes. La culture des fraises peut être profitable même dans les petits jardins. Les oignons jaunes sont une culture azérie traditionnelle; la variété blanche sera cultivée par plus de 300 paysans et paysannes grâce à l’intérêt déclaré d’une société internationale d’alimentation.
