Partnership Fund in the Czech Republic: Project Submission Kick-off

The Czech Republic accepts from now on the submission of projects to be implemented within the frame of Swiss-Czech partnerships. The submission of project proposals takes place via the Czech partner.

The Partnership Fund provides support to clearly defined projects in the partner country, which are of limited duration and contribute to tackling a specific challenge in the Czech Republic within the framework of a partnership. The exchange of knowledge and sharing of experience between the Swiss and Czech partners should be part of the project. Applicants may be any territorial/regional bodies (e.g., municipalities, cities, cantons, regions), social partners (e.g., unions, employers’ organizations), and other non-profit organizations or institutions (e.g., NGOs, associations, educational institutions).

The Fund provides support ranging from between CHF 10,000 and CHF 250,000. The contribution also covers the costs that arise within the scope of the partnership (e.g., travel and accommodations costs). Together, the partners must shoulder at least 10% of the overall project costs.

Project submission and selection

The National Coordination Unit (NCU) of the Czech Republic has launched a call for project submission on its Website: www.swiss-contribution.cz where more detailed information, e.g., on the deadline and the form for project proposal submission will be available. The submission of project proposals takes place via the Czech partner.

After having examined the proposal’s form and content, the NCU will submit the project proposals received to an evaluation committee for approval. The first decisions on the proposals submitted can be expected after two months. Thereafter, the Committee will make known its decisions on project proposals every four months.
