Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project Casta
The municipality of Casta is located in the southwest of the country, in the region of Bratislavsky Kraj and, despite its proximity to the capital Bratislava, lags behind in relation to the quality of waste water collection and treatment. Only about 60% of the population live in houses that are connected to a public sewage system, which is a very low figure compared to the average in the EU-15 (84.4%). The project aims to provide an adapted and affordable waste water collection and treatment infrastructure and to improve the quality of the underground and surface waters in the region.
