Partnerships between the 12 EU partner countries and Switzerland
Small projects within partnerships e.g. between territorial entities (as towns, municipalities, cantons, regions), social partners, associations or other non-profit institutions are
defined as a field of the Swiss contribution in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia, as well as Bulgaria and Romania. The goal of the partnerships is to facilitate the exchange
of know-how between institutions and authorities in the partner countries and Switzerland.
Switzerland has traditionally cultivated good and multifaceted relations with the twelve new EU member states, as expressed by the lively political dialogue and cultural exchange. Financial
support will be provided to small projects in the partner countries with a non-profit character promoted in the framework of partnerships.

The Swiss institutions listed below will be pleased to assist you in finding a suitable Swiss partner. For submitting your enguiry, we ask you to use the following template. Your enquiry to find a Swiss partner should be formulated in an attractive,
informative manner and cover at least the following points:
- Presentation of your institution (municipality, city, NGO, other institution?; tasks?)
- Attractiveness of your municipality/city/region resp. strengths of your NGO/institution
- Description of your project (title, content, justification, objectives, budget, time frame)
- Characteristics of the sought (non-commercial) partner institution (profile, expertise)
- Role of the sought (non-commercial) partner in the project
- Expected advantages for the sought Swiss partner entering such a partnership
- Your contact details (address, city, contact person, language competences, mail, phone, web address)
